Chris Corridore – A Curious Cat

I'm an artist and designer from Toronto, Canada, currently moving between home and Japan.
I believe there's magic where two worlds collide. It's at that threshold between places, cultures, reality and imagination where the most interesting stories begin.
I've been fascinated by culture, both real and imagined, for as long as I can remember. I'm drawn to the rituals, traditions, symbols and stories that give a place its character and quietly shape how we see the world.
I like to experience these things firsthand. To discover unfamiliar places, spend time with people, learn their customs and let new perspectives change the way I see. Curiosity has always been one of my ways of making sense of the world, and of myself.
If culture is my passion, aesthetics are my love language. I could spend all day wandering the streets for inspiration and all night getting lost in moodboards. I'm fascinated by the way colour, form, symbolism and story come together to create a feeling.
That's the kind of energy I want in my life, and the kind of worlds I want to create.
